Resistor box

After reading about the Honda resistor box to be used witht the DSM 450's and the SMC I went out back and pulled one off a junk vigor. Only thing is it has 6 wires not 5.

Does that mean I can't use it, and just not connect one wire?

The Vigor is a FIVE CYLINDER car !!! That would be ONE power wire and five injector wires.

Get one from a '88-91 Civic/CRX or a '92-95 Prelude... they are in junkyards everywhere. Hell, I bet Dave at Honda Haven has got one or two...

I truly don't know if that is possible... I have not ever tested one. If you feel lucky, you just might try it.
I see no really good reason why it wouldn't work, but I certainly do not, actually WILL NOT, suggest that you attempt this.

I know the other options work... and just to be on the safe side, I suggest you find a box that works for sure.

It should still work. If you think about it, its just a wire coming into resistance and a wire coming out of resistance for each injector. If you eliminated one of the wires it would not affect the other four.

That is what I was thinking, I tested the resistance and it came up 6 ohms.
That means I can use it right?

Id play it safe and just hit up radio shack for some $1.69/pair 10watt 10ohm resistors!
